Jacquelin Thomas is an award winning, best selling author with over 30 titles currently in print. Jacquelin was an honoree at the 2005 Houston Black Film Festival, for the movie adaptation of her novel, Hidden Blessings and was the first recipient to receive the Writers Achievement Award at the North Carolina Black Book Festival.
Although Jacquelin initially published in the romance genre, she has decided to follow the call on her heart to write inspirational fiction. Because of her commitment to books that glorify God and her growing teen audience, Jacquelin's first Young Adult novel titled Simply Divine came out in October 2006, introducing teen character Divine Matthews-Hardison, a Hollywood princess who suddenly finds herself in Temple, GA living a not-so-glamorous life. She has since published Divine Confidential which was nominated for an NAACP Image Award The third book in the series titled, Divine Secrets is currently in stores.
Jacquelin is a member of the National Writers Union, Romance Writers of America and the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators.
